Before Contraband there was Myth, the house band at the Spotlite Lounge in Clifton Park, NY. We played mostly Southern rock, rehearsed in my mom’s garage, and once opened for The Greg Kihn Band at JB Scott’s. When my family bought Paul’s Place in Mechanicville, the band came back together as Contraband and became the house band again, until about 1991.
